I’m a stampin’ fool

The stamping muse smiled briefly on me last night and I got a few things done.  Thought I would share.  🙂

First, a tri-fold card for next month’s swap.

 Tri-fold Cutout Card

This was a really great card to make, super easy, and looks beautiful!

Supplies:

12x 5 1/2 double-sided cardstock
2″ square punch
Die Cuts

1. Score the card stock at 4 and 8 inches. fold and press. Punch 2″ square 1″ from top thru all layers.

2. Using die cut machine (I’m a sizzix girl, this is sizzix dragonfly paper layers and charms flowers) cut 4 flower outlines from reverse color of cardstock, 4 flowers from coordinating print paper, 2 dragonfly bodies and 2 sets of wings from coordinating solid cardstock and 2 sets of wings from coordinating printed paper.

3. Decide where you want the overlap to be. Apply outlines to flowers, apply adhesive to back and line up carefully overlapping edge of window. Repeat for other set of flowers.

4. Build dragonflies separately (wing outline on patterned paper, attach to body. Align in window and adhere, overlapping edges of window.
